I am in love with this keyboard. I managed to get my hands on one, and wow, what a difference it makes! It looks amazing. The low-profile design gives it a sleek, modern look that really stands out on my desk. This keyboard feels incredible to type on. The keys have this satisfying, clicky sound that I absolutely love. It's not too loud, just enough to let you know you've hit the key. The metallic feeling adds a premium touch that really enhances the overall experience. This is like my dream keyboard, and I don't think I would be looking into one anytime soon.
I recently upgraded to a white lowfree flow with the tactile phantom switches and although I wish I could have just purchased it outright with this combo, it was good to test both types of switches.
I upgraded to the lowfree from a Keychron k3 pro and boy is it an upgrade. The quality of the product and more importantly the typing experience, is absolutely S tier and genuinely seems to be getting better over time.
I don’t care for keyboard lighting and so with all of that disabled I’m getting months from one charge.
Just get one.
I normally build keyboards instead of buying them prebuilt, but I thought I'd give the Flow a shot due to it being one of the few unique low-profile keyboards with hotswap switches and a neutral design.
+ Solid construction, I don't feel any flex anywhere on the chassis
+ Minimal rattle from keys and typing sound is pleasant, with no hollowness
+ Mac/Windows modes are great, with media / OS control buttons working really well
- 84% layout is awkward for me, I don't like the PrtSc key right above the backspace button, due to my typing style I tend to hit the PrtSc key by mistake often
- I wish there was more firmware configurability, as host overrides are not consistent (e.g. PowerToys) - e.g. disable Caps Lock and set it to R-Ctrl.
I rarely use the RGB/backlight of keyboards, so it is neither a pro or con.
Yes, this keyboard THOCKs. The Lofree Flow has got to be one of the best stock keyboards I've ever used (let alone owned). An easy W for anyone looking for a unique, and satisfying, typing feel for a low-profile keyboard.
This board types like a good custom board. Very smooth, excellent feel. I would realy like it to have 2.4 wifi, and some key customization wouldn't hurt.
