Excellent Tactile Switches - Phantom 2.0

I acquired these for my IQUNIX Magi96, and compared them with the first generation tactile switches (Phantom). These 2nd generation switches are better. The tactile bump is more noticeable (but not obnoxious) and the LED pass-through is significantly better. The tone of these switches is ever so slightly less muted, but it’s not drastic enough to sway your decision if you were really looking for more silent switches.

Amazing switches!

Probably the best tactile switches in the market if you want that bump while also illuminating your keyboard’s RGB. I’ve tested specifically on a set of Womier shinethrough low profile keycaps, primarily on the “Backspace” key. So, so many switches fell short on fully illuminating the words “Backspace” and it was only this low profile switch that was able to achieve that goal.

Kailh really hit a homerun with these switches. I’ve been a primary enthusiast of the Phantom tactile switches, and have recently received and used the Black Cloud tactile switches, but for the RGB light diffuser and the tactile bump the Pulse switches are king. They’ve been on my low profile daily driver keyboard for several months and they are such an absolute joy to type on.

My favorite low profile switch

I've tried several low profiles. No other switch was more satisfying to type on than the Pulse switches. Very precise, easy to press but still has the tactile bump. They sound great too, a mix between thocky and clacky, and is on the quieter side. I love it.
