~TLDR: Buy it to look nice and use it in a pinch during a heatwave.

I bought this to match the retro aesthetic I've got going at my desk with the FLP02, and having a cute, aesthetic little personal fan has helped a lot with the summer heat that's been killing me. However, given its short charger cable limits where I can place it while charging, and it also has a battery in it, which means to maximise its life, you don't want it plugged in all the time, and it could explode if the advertised 4000 mAh battery is a lithium-ion battery. Plus, since you want it charged all the time, you'll be constantly plugging it in and out. Which can be annoying, especially since you're probably going to place it on your desk and thus are risking your desk and computer should something bad happen. Also, why does the "tactile 9-speed knob" need to exist at 9 when it only has three speeds? Perhaps I simply can't feel the lower speeds, as even at its highest it tries to remain quiet, and I value that.

I'd also wish this fan were just a bit bigger. As fans scale in efficiency, the bigger they are. Generally, one large fan is better than a group of smaller ones that are grouped together to cover the same surface area, which means this tiny one could add half an inch to its blade, and it would become noticeably better at air throughput.

However, this is the only real modern fan I could find online that fits this aesthetic at this price, and its goals are to be small, be portable, have the retro vibe and function. and it does do all of this well.

I'd suggest it at the cost if you understand it's mostly an aesthetic piece for your desk and isn't supposed to be used all the time.
